"With a pen in your hand you set up three-dimensional shapes, spatial units and sequences to the project. I come to think of ritual, sacrifice, places of residence, my place, and how you are being the center of your village and the center of your vocabulary. Think about tribute and guard, and about how the personal and the collective consciousness is based in one location. Creating your totem pole. Youre part of a collective psyche that builds your protection against the outside world, your shield and protection against foreign forces. Leave your stake behind and let it take shape. Out of your hands you give birth to the Object. With parts solid, partly performing in the moment, partly installment and some careful revision.
Through the piece Primitive By Nature, I enjoyably raise my phallus into place with its message and form that ultimately reflects what I want to bring the talks. On the screen the pole pulsates up and down, up and down into the brownish liquid..."
